And last December one lucky winner was able to do just that! Mum of five, Mandy Webb from Kent won £2,000 to make her Mecca Moment come true after posting her dream on the Mecca Bingo Facebook fan page. Mandy was chosen out of 312 entrants as a top 5 finalist, before being voted as the favourite by Mecca Bingo fans.

Mandy comments: “My Mecca Moment was to put a deposit down on a flat for my three eldest children to move out of home so that they stopped using my laptop whilst I was trying to play bingo! Or at least enough to buy them a laptop each!

“I’m a huge fan of Mecca Bingo and a huge fan of Facebook, so I was campaigning every day for all my bingo friends to vote for me. When I found out that I’d won I screamed and cried and squeezed the life out of my poor Dad! I’ve never won anything before and just to see my name up in lights is fantastic.”

But it’s not just bingo players who could be quids in as Meccabingo.com wants to make Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Mecca Moment come true. Launching on Wednesday, 2nd February, Meccabingo.com will donate 50p to Marie Curie Cancer Care every time a fan ‘likes’ the Mecca Bingo Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/MeccaBingo. Mecca Bingo has pledged to donate a whopping £10,000 to the charity, so it needs 20,000 likes to bring this particular Mecca Moment to life!
